American cyclist Lance Armstrong, seven-time Tour de France winner, swapped his bike for a surf board las Tuesday at San Isidro, Tenerife in the Canary Islands. After the training session with his team, ASTANA, he had a private surfing lesson with a local instructor.
Lance, who announced his retirement in 2005 will be back in action competing in 2009. His first event back will be the Giro D'Italia in April. After that he will be looking for his 8th Tour de France title. This will be the first time he will compete in both events in the same year.
