Fabio Carvalho won yesterday the 18th Edition of the Troféu Brasil Triathlon. The event took place in the city of Santos and more than 1000 competing athletes.
There was a head to head battle for the title between Fabinho and Paulo Myashiro(Shiro).
The Race:
On the swimming part of the race both of them had a similar pace, but when it came down to the bike, Fabinho showed all his talent. Riding his Merida he opened up a 2 minute gap and left a comfortable cushion for the running part. With his running under control, Fabinho held the lead and crossed the finish line with a time of 1h49m31s. The win meant back to back titles for the Mogi-Mirim native.
